Blood Diagnostic Testing Service
At Vitamin Injections London, we offer a comprehensive Blood Diagnostic Testing Service in conjunction with local laboratories. This vitamin deficiency test is one of the first available in our London and Kent clinics.Assessing the body’s native vitamin and mineral levels prior to treatment provides a useful benchmark against which the results of vitamin nutrient therapy can be assessed. Levels of thiamine (vitamin B1), riboflavin (vitamin B2), niacin (vitamin B3), pyridoxine (vitamin B6) and biotin (vitamin B7) can be accurately gauged by taking a blood sample and measuring the activation of a particular red cell enzyme, which varies between vitamins. The presence of non-vitamin co-factors are also measured and to this end, we offer iron testing as an individual Blood Diagnostic Testing Service option.
Levels of fat soluble vitamins and ascorbic acid (vitamin C) are measured directly in blood serum. Vitamin D levels are measured using a finger prick, blood spot sample.

Why do I need it?
We use blood diagnostic testing to accurately determine which of our injections you would benefit from the most. Determining whether you're deficient in specific vitamins or minerals is 100% safe and helps our IV/IM practitioners to recommend the most appropriate treatments for you based on your test results.
Our full package option is the ideal choice for those who are unsure about which vitamin(s) they might be deficient in, allowing you to tailor-make a treatment plan with your IV/IM practitioner. Should you wish, your blood diagnostic tests can be repeated at the end of your treatment cycle, providing you with an accurate measure of the improvements gained from our injections.
