This vitamin deficiency test is one of the first available in London and Kent.Determining the body’s native vitamin and mineral levels before any IV/IM injection provides a benchmark against which the results of vitamin nutrient therapy can be evaluated. Levels of thiamine (vitamin B1), riboflavin (vitamin B2), niacin (vitamin B3), pyridoxine (vitamin B6) and biotin (vitamin B7) can be accurately gauged by taking a blood sample and measuring the activation of a particular red blood cell enzyme. Non-vitamin co-factors can also measured and to this end, we offer iron deficiency testing.
Levels of fat-soluble vitamins and ascorbic acid (vitamin C) are measured directly in blood serum. Vitamin D levels are measured using a finger prick, blood spot sample.

Your blood sample will be taken by your IV/IM practitioner, packaged accordingly and sent to the lab within 24 hours and your vitamin deficiency test will be available within 7-12 days.
